update: i added a preloader.
----------

well, i'm pretty proud of this, because it used a lot of my patience!

i spent half an hour on a boardwalk ("katzensee" in zürich) - cam mounted on my tripod - pushing the trigger every 15 seconds. so this is 120 shots in half an hour. which becomes approximately 6.6 seconds of high speed cloud formation @ 18 frames per second!!
i was inspired by a movie *boli showed to me. it is called "ambra" and consists of several beautifully arranged lansdscape movies and still images. and among other things sequences in this style. its amazing how clouds and sun play when you can actually see how they transform and move!!! just spend a bit of time watching the movie and notice all the tiny details in the formation process!!

i love it!! :bounce:

this is one of three sequences i did that evening!!

i had to place it in the flash cathegory, because there is no other movie section. would have been nice under photography tough!

sorry for the big filesize (3.2MB!!!) but video you know... :D

appendix: some of you asked for a still picture of this scene. just about some hours ago boli uploaded his absolutely stunning panorama shot of the same scene divine touch. check it out!!!

Fantastic, very well made. I know what it is to have the patience to do this sorta stuff. You should check out my little traffic movie [here] if you'd like.

This is definitely the absolutely best thing I've ever seen on DA so far!
I love sunsets, and I've always wanted to do something like this, wondering how it could have turned out. Well, now I know!
This is hypnotizing, I could stare at it for hours, and every time I can spot new gorgeous details in the clouds, in the sun, in the reflection on the water...
It's superbe!

Did you realise no one can see inside your view?

What is that thing passing, leaving trail behind it? Is it a plain? It looks like a shooting star :)
